From In the Matter of J. Robert Oppenheimer a wonderful trial play. Produced in 2014 by the Saint Sebastian Players. This was taken from the actual transcripts of the hearings involving J. Robert Oppenheimer, the father of the Nuclear Bomb in regards to his security clearance. I portrayed Gordon Gray who was an official in the government of the United States during the administrations of Harry Truman (1945–53) and Dwight Eisenhower (1953–61) associated with defense and national security. This monologue was a challenge, I had a hard time with the memorization and wondered if I was losing my touch with line memorization. It finally came but made me realize getting older sucks!
